These terms (“Terms”) covers your registration on and use of AB Electrolux’ (“Electrolux”, “Us”, ”We“) website www.electroluxtalks.com (the “Site”). Please read these Terms carefully before using or registering on the Site. By registering on the Site and by accepting this Terms as part of the registration process, you hereby accept these Terms on your own behalf and/or on behalf of your company or organization. If you are acting on behalf of a legal entity, you represent that you are authorized to act on behalf of such legal entity and that your acceptance of the Terms creates a legally enforceable obligation of the legal entity. As used herein, “You” or “Your” refers to you and, where applicable, any legal entity on behalf of which you are acting. If you do not accept and agree to follow these Terms, you should not use or register on the Site. For the avoidance of doubt, these Terms also apply to any updates and supplements to the Site.

EVENT

You have been invited to AEG booth at IFA 2023 (the “Event”) taking place on September 1-5, 2023 and have therefore been offered the possibility to register on the Site to access the Event.
These Terms apply in respect of Your participation in the Event and Your use of the Site during and otherwise in connection to the Event. By registering on the Site, You acknowledge that You have read and agree to follow these Terms.
You understand that Your right to access the Site is limited to the Event and Electrolux reserves the right to, in its own discretion, cancel or remove the account created by You through Your registration on the Site and/or to restrict Your access to the Site after the Event has taken place.

REGISTRATION

To access the Site and participate in the Event, You will be required to register on the Site and complete the registration process by providing Us with complete and accurate information as stated in the applicable registration form. You will also be required to choose a password and to accept these Terms. Once You have completed the registration process on the Site You will receive an email with an activation code to confirm Your registration.
You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of Your password and account. You also agree to accept responsibility for all the activities occurring under Your account, user-name and/or password that are due to Your conduct, inaction or negligence. You agree to notify Electrolux immediately of any unauthorized use of Your account or any other breach of security. Electrolux will not be liable for any loss that You may incur as a result of someone else using Your password or account.

YOUR PRIVACY

Your Privacy is important to Us. Please read our Data Privacy Policy as it describes the types of data We collect from You and Your devices, how We use Your data and the legal bases We have to process Your data.
If You are an employee of a company within the Electrolux group of companies, You shall comply with the provisions of the employee data privacy statement applicable in the country of Your employment.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

You acknowledge that all intellectual property rights (including but not limited to, copyright, know how, registered and unregistered trademarks, registered and unregistered designs, including where applicable applications for registration of any of the foregoing rights, and any other rights of a similar nature in any country of the world) and any content on the Site are either owned by Electrolux, an affiliate of Electrolux or licensed/granted by a third party licensor or its licensors. All goodwill and new intellectual property rights arising through the use of such intellectual property rights owned by Electrolux shall incur to Electrolux.
This Site, including all content (such as, but not limited to, images, photographs, drawings, software, designs, audio files, videos, articles and other information) published on the Site (“Content”), are protected by worldwide copyright laws and treaty provisions. This protection means that the content may not be reproduced or made available to the public without prior permission from Electrolux. You agree to comply with all applicable copyright laws in Your use of this Site and to prevent any unauthorized copying or other unauthorized use of the Site or its Content.
Except as expressly provided in these Terms, Electrolux does not grant any license, directly or indirectly, to You of any intellectual property rights which are now or in the future owned by Electrolux, an affiliate of Electrolux or its licensors.

CODE OF CONDUCT AND USER WARRANTIES

If You do not comply with the aforesaid, You may not use the Site. Electrolux shall then not be legally bound by these Terms and reserves all its legal rights in relation to such non-compliance. If You violate the Terms, You are liable to pay compensation for any damages caused to Electrolux and/or its affiliates as a consequence of Your actions.

CHANGES

Electrolux reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change, modify, add, suspend and/or remove any portion of these Terms in whole or in part, at any time. Changes in these Terms will be effective when notice of such change is posted on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after any change to these Terms are posted will be considered acceptance of those changes.
Electrolux may terminate, change, correct any errors or omissions in any portion of the Site, make any other changes to the Site and any content on the Site, suspend or discontinue any aspect of the Site, including the availability of any features of the Site, at any time without notice.

YOUR CONFIDENTIAL AND PROPRIETARY INFORMATION

You should not send any confidential or proprietary information to Electrolux via the Site. You agree that any information or materials that You or individuals acting on Your behalf provide to Electrolux will not be considered confidential or proprietary and shall be free for Electrolux and its affiliates to use without any conditions, limitations or restrictions. Further, You warrant that You shall not provide any information or materials to Electrolux that is defamatory, threatening, obscene, harassing, or otherwise unlawful under whatever applicable law, or that incorporates the proprietary material of another. Electrolux reserves the right to, in its sole discretion, remove any information, material or other content provided by You from the Site.

SECURITY

You may not: (a) use any device or software capable of interfering with the operation of the Site or (b) take any action, which imposes a disproportionately large or unreasonable load upon the infrastructure of the Site (such as sending mass emails " spamming"), or (c) interfere or tamper with the software of the Site or the functionality thereof. This includes putting material on the Site, which is infected with viruses, Trojan horses, time bombs or other elements that may damage or interfere with the programming structure of the Site. You may also not probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the site or any network connected to the site, nor breach the security or the authentication methods on the site or any network connected to the site.

DUTY TO MITIGATE LOSSES AND TIME BAR

Without prejudice to any limitation of liability as set forth in these Terms, You shall take all reasonable steps to mitigate Your loss arising in relation to any claim or action (whether for negligence, breach of contract or otherwise), which You may bring against Electrolux. Any cause of action You may have with respect to Your use of the Site must be commenced within one (1) year after the claim or cause of action arises.

NOTICES

All references to "writing", "notices", and "notification" and all similar ends related expressions shall cover electronic methods of communication (for instance, email) provided that the party relying on the communication retains acceptable evidence that the communication was sent and received.

SEVERABILITY

If for any reason a court of competent jurisdiction finds any provision of these Terms or portion thereof, to be unenforceable, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permissible so as to affect the intent of these Terms, and the remainder of these Terms shall continue in full force and effect.

ASSIGNMENT

Electrolux is authorized to transfer parts of or all of the rights and obligations under these Terms to other companies within the Electrolux group of companies.
You are not entitled to assign or transfer Your rights and obligations arising from the Terms, either wholly or partially, directly or indirectly, without the prior written consent of Electrolux.

GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Your use of this Site and these Terms shall be governed by the laws of Sweden, without giving effect to its conflict of laws provisions. Any dispute arising out of use of this Site and these Terms shall be finally settled in ordinary court, with Stockholm’s district court being the court of first instance.
